Here it is - Our next fundraising event - A Grand Auction.

This is being held at The Crown Inn (thanks to Linda and Roger). Loads of new and nearly new goods up for grabs; furniture, bikes, books, CD,s, TV’s etc, so come along and grab a bargain. Viewing commences at 12 noon with the auction starting at 2pm.

The second event will be a Valentines Disco (Over 18s only please) on the 23rd February, starting at 7.30pm, at Awsworth Village Hall. In addition to the disco, there will also be live music from a superb band. Tickets will be available on the door at a cost of £3.00.

Our next planned event is a 'Table Top Sale' on the 19th of April, at the Village Hall. Open to the public from 10am to 12 noon, please contact Bryan on 07951185823 to book a table.

Other events already being planned include; Beer & Skittles Night, Horse Racing, Discos, Live Bands, St George's Day Celebrations and Casino Nights. Please join us at our Committee meeting to share your own thoughts and ideas for further fund raising events. Our next Awsworth Community Association Committee meeting is on 30th January - 8pm till 9.30pm in the Youth Club at the Village Hall. (Come along, we don't bite!).

Please remember - without your help and support, 'Party On The Rec 2' won't happen in our village.
